Ansel Adams
Before going to a private school, Adams was tutored by has father and aunt. Adams was proficient at piano, but always chose photography over piano. Nineteen Twenty seven was the year that he published his first photograph, Monolith, the Face of Half Dome. One of Adams' most treasured friends and colleagues was Edward Weston. He was so dedicated to his photography that he spent nearly 18 hours each day, every day of the week, for weeks on end. Also, he was also one of the last defining figures in the age of Romantic landscape and photography. I chose the photograph that I did because I love how much the waterfall stands out against the dark rocks, and how he used a slow shutter speed to make the water look the way it does.

Found Faces Story
Hello! My name is Bubbles! I live on a pressure meter and it is a great place to be. There is a lot of stuff to do around here. During the daytime, I watch over the back of the art building to make sure nobody is skipping class! Sometimes students try to sneak out the back door that I watch over, but I stop them in there tracks and send them right on back to class! Even though it's my job, it really is one of my favorite things to do. At night, I like to watch any sports games going on at our beautiful new turf field. My mom and dad work at different schools than I do. Their names are Peter and Jenny. I have one younger brother named Russ. He works on the other side of the school as a Fire Extinguisher (he was adopted.) I bet you would never have guessed, but me and Russ are remarkable singers. Sometimes he comes over and we sing karaoke together. We have a lot of fun together. I love my life.
